As I sit here typing this month’s newsletter I had to scoot off to pop on a light jumper and some slippers. It’s officially feeling like Autumn! Rather than heading into hibernation, locals on Mallorca often feel like this is the time of year to reclaim the island. From hiking in the Tramuntana to a bit of retail therapy in Palma, the throngs of tourists have eased and the pace is slower. We choose this time of year to get back into healthy habits, especially around movement, as well as taking more time for self-care practices that may have fallen by the wayside over the busy and social summer months.

ACUPUNCTURE & TCM WITH SANA WELLNESS
Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners believe the human body has more than 2,000 acupuncture points connected by pathways or meridians. These pathways create an energy flow (Qi) through the body that is responsible for overall health, and disruption of the energy flow can cause disease. Applying acupuncture to certain points is thought to improve the flow of Qi, thereby improving health. Sarah Hanline from Sana Wellness is a qualified Chinese Medicine practitioner and Acupuncturist with a special interest in women’s health and digestive conditions. She focuses on treating the root cause of imbalance, aiming to prevent reoccurring ailments. Sarah also specialises in cosmetic acupuncture and commonly treats stress & anxiety-related conditions, and muscular conditions among many others. Find out more or book a session with Sarah by contacting her through her website www.sanawellness.co.nz.
